Deposit Policy
Effective May 12, 2026:
If you cancel two sessions, please note that to secure future appointments a non-refundable $20 deposit will be required when booking, no exceptions. This deposit will be applied to the cost of your next appointment booked, after your session, when payment is due.
Cancellations for any reason without 48 hours notice will render that deposit nonrefundable.
When appointments are canceled without 48 hours notice, the shared space then goes unoccupied and unavailable to others who may have needed that time.
Thank you for understanding and respecting the time and space held for each session.

Appointment Confirmations
Appointment confirmation texts are sent two days before your scheduled session. A reply is required to confirm your appointment.
If I do not receive a confirmation, I will assume you are no longer able to attend, and your appointment may be canceled and offered to another client.
If a deposit was required to reserve your appointment, failure to confirm will result in the cancellation of your appointment, and your deposit will be forfeited.

Late Arrival Policy
If possible, I ask that you please arrive 5 minutes prior to your appointment time. This allows you to fill out any paperwork, discuss any particular areas of focus for your session and get settled. Please note: your session will not be extended if you arrive late or pre-session discussion runs long. Your session will still only be for the allotted time and you are responsible for payment for the complete session you booked.
Regardless of the length of the treatment actually given, you will be responsible for full payment of the fee for the session you booked. Please be respectful of my time and the appointments that may be booked after you.

Returning Clients
Clients who have not been seen within the past 12 months will be required to book a First-Time Client appointment (75 minutes) to allow time for updated intake paperwork. The first-time client fee will apply.
If you have questions regarding this policy, when your last appointment occurred, or the cost of the appointment, please feel free to email me using the button below.

Substances
It is my strict policy, that you do not arrive for your appointment under the influence of recreational drugs or alcohol. Doing so will result in your session being canceled, and you will be required to pay for the booked time.
It’s best to avoid alcohol and recreational drugs for at least 24 hours prior to a Reiki session for the following reasons:
Energetic Interference: Many substances are considered "heavy,” meaning they can dull your energy awareness, lower your energetic vibration, and create blockages that prevent the free flow of Reiki energy.
Detoxification Conflict: Reiki promotes the release of toxins and stagnant energy the body no longer needs. Introducing alcohol or drugs immediately before or after a session works against this purification process.
Reduced Effectiveness: If your body is processing alcohol or drugs, the Reiki energy might focus primarily on that, rather than providing deeper, long-term healing.
